The Government wants to make sure everyone in the UK can afford to heat their home and are available via ECO, a Government Scheme. Cavity wall and loft insulation are quick fix solutions that can save you a lot of money. And now, thanks to the government insulation scheme, they might even be available to you absolutely free.
To qualify for a grant, you must own the property and have bills, benefits, etc. registered at that address. Landlords and private tenants no longer qualify because it is the landlord’s responsibility to pay for these improvements. However, you can still qualify for help through the Green Deal. This is a type of loan that uses the energy bill savings to pay off the amount borrowed. Note that we cannot assist Council or Housing Association tenants
